About this case
Witness statements, photographs, medical examinations and hotel records. They're all on your desk from the first minute, and the hotel is there too, room by room. Not everyone in these papers tells the same story twice.
You decide what matters. Keep the words you want and say what you think on Cards. Put the evening in order, lay it all out on your Board and walk to where it happened. When you're sure enough, seal your case report and submit it. Then you get the answer.
How you play
Mark what matters
Select any words in any paper and keep them as a Finding.
Say what you think
A Card is your thought in your own words: a question or an explanation that joins two or more Findings. The game never writes one for you.
The evening in order
Times in the words you keep land on the Timeline, in order. Exact times stay exact, and estimates stay estimates.
Lay it out
Put Findings and Cards on your Board, move them where you want them and thread them together.
Walk the hotel
See each Finding at its place in the 3D hotel, from the room down to the object.
Make your case
Write your case report, seal it and submit it. Then read what really happened.
Good to know
- No hints, scores or suggested answers. The game shows you how to use it, never what to conclude.
- Everything is available from the start. Work through it in any order.
- Play alone, or share one screen with someone.
- Your work is saved on your device. It doesn't sync between devices.
